How often is the petrol pump replaced

There is no fixed replacement cycle for the gasoline pump. Generally, the gasoline pump may be abnormal when the vehicle travels about 100000 kilometers. However, the gasoline filter can be replaced at about 40000 kilometers. When the automobile oil pump is inspected and maintained, it needs to go to a professional 4S store to deal with it, so as to avoid problems in the disassembly process, causing greater failures and causing unnecessary losses.

1. Old steam oil pump:
If it is necessary to check the gasoline pump that has been used for a long time, it should be noted that dry test is not allowed. When the gasoline pump is removed, there is residual fuel in the pump housing. During the power on test, if there is poor contact, sparks will be generated, which will ignite the fuel in the pump housing, and it is likely to cause explosion due to combustion, with serious consequences.
2. New fuel pump:
For the newly replaced gasoline pump of the vehicle, attention should also be paid to the fact that the dry test cannot be carried out because the motor of the gasoline pump is sealed in the pump shell, and the heat generated during the dry test cannot be normally dissipated, which will cause damage to the gasoline pump over a long period of time, especially if the armature is overheated, the motor will be burnt. Therefore, the gasoline pump should be soaked in the fuel for test during the inspection of the gasoline pump.
3. Safety:
After the steam oil pump leaves the oil tank, the oil pump shall be wiped clean to avoid being placed in the place where sparks are generated.
